"Conflict, dreams and humor are characteristics of my artwork. In my most recent series "...0101..," technology as represented by
binary numbers encroaches on idyllic and mythological landscapes of hills, waterfalls and forests. The inhabitants resemble clothespins, which are seen floating, flying and fleeing from untold events, portending everlasting change. The nature of the work introduces us to the reality of a post-bucolic civilization and raises questions about contemporary life."

Wayne Paige has been exhibiting his art since 1972. The artist grew up in Chicago and currently shares his time between Middleburg, Virginia and Washington, D.C. With twenty one-person shows to his credit, Paige has exhibited his artwork in galleries and museums throughout the country (The Corcoran Museum, The Anderson Gallery, The Katzen Arts Center...). His art received recognition by local and national publications (Art in America, The Washington Post...) and are included in numerous public and private collections. Paige also received several awards including First Prize in The Fairfax Art Council awards, First Prize in The George Washington University Alumni Competition and a Special Recognition award from The Virginia Commission of the Arts.
